A woman got squeezed by her local police department after she called 911 to file a report about a man wielding a knife – only to have them discover he was using it to cut oranges at the supermarket where he worked. The woman, whose name was not released, walked into a supermarket, where the worker was slicing citrus for juicing. He says he put down the blade and approached her to see if she needed help, at which point she dialed the emergency number to report him having the "weapon." She told the dispatcher she thought it was unfair for the worker to be allowed to have the knife even though it's illegal to carry one in the store. When the operator told her to take it up with the store manager, she hung up.

A Mississippi man is facing charges after trying to get away from cops by running into a police academy.  Roger Wayne Beasley took off after police in Biloxi tried to pull him over recently.  Apparently, the officer recognized Beasley and knew he didn't have a license.  Without noticing parked police cars outside, Beasley tried to escape by entering the Harrison County Law Enforcement Training Academy.  Beasley gave up after realizing he had no chance of getting away.  Apart from resisting arrest charges, he is also facing drug possession charges and traffic violations.
