Official Rules

1. Eligibility

The Gator Gas and Groceries Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is open to legal residents of Southwest Florida who are at least 18 years old. Southwest Florida is defined as the counties of Charlotte, Collier, Glades, Hendry, and Lee.

Employees, contractors, officers, and directors of Renda Media, Inc., Gator Country 101.9, affiliated companies, prize providers, advertising agencies, and other radio or television stations are not eligible to enter. Immediate family members and household members of these individuals are also ineligible.

The Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws.

By entering, participants agree to abide by these Official Rules and accept all decisions made by the Sponsor as final.

2. Sweepstakes Period

The Sweepstakes begins Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 8:00 AM ET and ends Thursday, December 10, 2026, at 5:00 PM ET.

The Sweepstakes will take place every Thursday during the promotional period, excluding Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 26, 2026.

Eligible contest dates are:

Thursday, November 5, 2026
Thursday, November 12, 2026
Thursday, November 19, 2026
Thursday, December 3, 2026
Thursday, December 10, 2026

Each participating Thursday includes 10 separate hourly entry periods, beginning at 8:00 AM and continuing hourly through 5:00 PM ET.

The station reserves the right to extend or end the promotion early at its discretion.

3. How to Enter

Listen to Gator Country 101.9 every participating Thursday between 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM ET for the hourly keyword.

Text the announced keyword to (239) 498-1019 for your chance to win $100 in prepaid gift card(s).

There are 10 chances to win each participating Thursday, with one winner selected for each hourly contest.

Limit one entry per phone number per contest hour.
Additional entries during the same hour will be discarded.
Entries must contain the correct keyword for the applicable contest hour.
Entries are valid only for the contest hour in which they are submitted.
Standard messaging and data rates may apply.

No contests will be conducted on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026.

4. Winner Selection

Approximately 15 minutes after each hourly keyword is announced, one potential winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during that entry period.

Potential winners may be required to:

Respond to prize notification.
Provide valid government-issued ID.
Sign eligibility, liability, and publicity documents if required.

If a selected winner cannot be reached, fails verification, declines the prize, or is otherwise disqualified, an alternate winner may be chosen.

5. Prizes

Each hourly winner receives:

$100 in prepaid gift card(s)

Total Approximate Retail Value (ARV) per winner: $100

Prize Limits

Limit one prize package per person/household during the entire Sweepstakes.
Prizes are nontransferable and may not be exchanged for cash.
The Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if necessary.

Odds of Winning

Odds depend on the number of eligible entries received during each hourly entry period.

All prizes are awarded as-is with no guarantees or warranties from the Sponsor.

6. Disqualification / Technical Issues

The Sponsor may disqualify anyone who:

Tampers with the contest.
Cheats or attempts fraud.
Harasses others.
Violates these rules.

The Sponsor is not responsible for technical failures including:

Phone issues.
Network outages.
Delayed or lost messages.
Software or hardware failures.
Human or technical errors.

The Sponsor may cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes at any time if necessary.

7. Publicity Release

By accepting a prize, winners grant the Sponsor permission to use their:

Name
Image
Voice
Likeness

for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

8. Personal Information

Personal information collected during the Sweepstakes will only be used for:

Prize fulfillment.
Eligibility verification.
Administrative and accounting purposes.
Marketing emails, if user has opted in.

Information may be shared with third parties involved in prize fulfillment and handled according to the Sponsor’s privacy policy.

9. Liability Release

By entering, participants agree to release the Sponsor and related parties from liability for any claims, damages, losses, or injuries related to:

Participation in the Sweepstakes.
Prize acceptance.
Prize use or misuse.

The Sponsor is not responsible for delays or inability to award prizes due to circumstances beyond its control, including natural disasters, emergencies, weather events, labor disputes, or other unforeseen events.

10. Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, or local taxes associated with prizes.

If a participant wins more than $600 in prizes in a calendar year, a 1099 tax form may be issued, subject to applicable tax reporting requirements.

11. Final Decisions

All decisions made by the Sponsor are final.

Anyone using fraudulent means or violating the rules will be disqualified.

The Sponsor reserves the right to interpret and enforce these rules.

12. Arbitration

Any disputes related to this Sweepstakes will be resolved through binding arbitration, not through court litigation, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
